After getting kitted up on the shore I entered the water and swam out to the square rock to look for the wreck. I couldnt find it to begin with and when I did eventually locate it, it was a part I had never seen before. It was seperated from the main body of the wreck and square in shape. Nearby I located the main body of the wreck however and found what I think to be the boilers and also the stern of the ship with the prop shaft clearly visable. There was quite a few large sections of the hull as well as lots of plates and ribs. Its bloody massive. When I surfaced I took my mark of the coast which was the bothy at Portormin beach and the cliff face near the wall, with the steps in, on the Balcladaich side. It took ages to swim back to shore and I was exhausted by the time I climbed out of the water. Looking forward to getting down there again.
