Diving "Scrabster Life Boat Shed".

Buddy :- Chris Allen. Start Code :- A. Max Depth :- 8m. Visibility :- Poor. Water Speed :- Heavy Swell. Weather Conditions :- Rough Sea, Cold, Windy, Raining.

This was my first dive of the year after the winter break. Ive only got a wetsuit ! Brrrr. After getting kitted up myself and Chris entered the water. I had a rough time entering the water due to me being a little out of shape and the weather conditions being far from perfect. I was struggling for breath enough for the STAB to be restricting my chest while breathing heavily which compounded the situation so I decided to abort the dive to adjust it. On the second attempt I felt much more relaxed and soon managed to dive beneath the surf into calmer waters. Chris being more a more experianced diver took the lead and I was happy to follow him for most of the dive and even managed to spot a brass valve he did not notice or possiable had no interest in. Unfortunatly I have already aquired this unusal habit of scavaging and dragging home any bright shiney object I find on the sea bed. Lord alone knows why 8) I felt really chuffed with myself. Also I spotted a couple of sucker fish as well as a lot of other junk near the pier. When the time came for me to get out of the water Chris was at hand to help out which I thought was good of him if a little bit to organised for me. ;) It's that military training again. It gets them every time. LOL. Another enjoyable dive with some good lessons and experiance gained even though it was only in 8 meters of water.
