Diving "Port Skerra" .

Buddy :- Paul Stephen, James Kelman Start Code :- A. Time Down :- 7.00pm. Dive Time :- 33min. Time Up :- 7.33pm . Total Time :- 33min. Max Depth :- 18m. Visibility :- Poor. Weather Conditions :- Overcast, Twilight, Light Wind from Shore, Dry.

Fiona Watson, John S R Macleod, James Kelman, and Paul Stevens were all present. Fiona paired up with John while I tagged along with James and Paul. On entry to the water the light was starting to fade but I needed the practice and Paul loaned me his spare torch. Ive dived this location on numerous occasions before and knew what to expect. Observed minimal sea life. Baby pucker fish, few small cuddies. Paul caught a banded lobster which looked under size. He took the bands of its claws and let it go. Small crab seemed fairly common in this area. Nothing else to report. Very much a case of seen it, done it, bought the Tee Shirt. Had a slight loss of control of my buoyancy at one stage towards the end of my dive but corrected it quickly before it became uncontrolable. All through the dive I felt off balance. Maybe my weights shifted or my tank. Was an OK dive I suppose but want to start exploring new locations soon.
