Diving "Scrabster Lighthouse" .

Buddy :- Steve Todman and Rob Saladin. Start Code :- A. Total Time :- 40min. Max Depth :- 19m. Visibility :- Good. Weather Conditions :- Calm,Bright.

Myself, Steve and Rob , a Dutch man over on holiday, went on this dive as a threesome instead of the usual buddy pair. We went of the shelf of rock at the waters edge and dived down the face of the cliff to the bottom which on this occasion was at 19 meters due to the high tide. There was a slight current but nothing to worry about. The viz was reasonable, about 10 meters and we managed to see quite a bit of the local sea life. Mostly fish. Came across a few crabs. Unfortunatley no lobsters apart from ones in creals. One minor hitch was that my air wasn't turned on fully so that once I got to deapth the pressure guage was not reading correctly as I inhaled. I was getting sufficient air but in hindsigt it could have been a little embarrasing if I had an out off air situation and caused us to abort the dive. However Rob saved the day by simply turning my valve on to full for me. On the asscent I had a little difficulty dumping my air from my STAB but it was only due to lack of practice and I never let my assent rate become uncontrollable so that was ok. This dive is only my sixth and I am still learning but also enjoying it immensely.
